COORDINATES REAL PROPERTY DECISIONS AND PROJECTS:
Direct the completion of the Asset Business Plans (ABP) by the service centers for the GSA controlled real property inventory. Oversee the documentation of asset strategies, action plans, and performance of the owned inventory. Promote the development of Asset Business Plans and Lease Business Plans. COORDINATES LONG TERM ASSET UTILIZATION AND OPERATION:
Encourage asset business strategy discussions through periodic meetings with service center and regional teams and mentors the service center asset managers and portfolio managers in such discussions. Provide direction on asset utilization and operation by focusing on Asset Business Plan and Local Portfolio Plan strategies providing planning guidance to involved team members. Participate in discussions with various teams comprised of service center and regional organization elements concerning options that provide a new direction for individual assets. COORDINATES MINOR REPAIR AND ALTERATION PROGRAM (BA54):
Coordinate the Repair and Alteration Program (BA54) and represents the region at the national level as required. Provide planning guidance, implementation milestones, and oversees distribution of funds to area offices for the BA54 program. Provide input that includes development of 10 year proformas; identification of where building engineering studies are needed, maintenance of the Web based BER (Building Evaluation Report), prioritization of projects in relation to available funds and overseeing achievement of BA54 obligation schedule to meet quarterly goals. Oversee maintenance of the Inventory Reporting Information System (IRIS), exclusive of the fire & life safety module. SUPPORTS ASSET MANAGEMENT FINANCIAL SYSTEMS Supports asset management financial systems and measures through liaison work with service centers and regional business lines. Financial systems and measures include:
Budget Calls and RentEst, Asset Business Plans on the Web, National Tiering program, WEB BER program, Inventory Reporting Information System (IRIS), and Physical Condition Survey (PCS). SUPPORTS REGIONAL MEASURES AND GOALS Provide input and oversight of National and Regional measures. Determine most efficient methods to track and report on progress and oversees the development of tools and reports, analysis of data for management. Share best practices and implementation plans with Regional and Service Center associates. Coordinate efforts with Regional and Service Center partners. For each job on your resume, provide:

The GS-13 salary range starts at $99,941 per year. If you are a new federal employee, your starting salary will likely be set at the Step 1 of the grade for which you are selected. To qualify, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level or higher in the Federal service. Specialized experience includes performing the full range of asset management programs including economic management of owned or leased assets, asset/facility strategic development, and asset performance analysis related to financial management of commercial and/or public real estate programs.
