Asset Management Specialist

Works with designated PBS asset management teams in examination of short and long term objectives, develops methods to meet those objectives and directs changes when corrective actions or revisions are necessary. Monitors the financial condition of the regional portfolio and develops strategic initiatives to improve the profitability of the portfolio. Lead on the asset management related performance measures for their assigned territory and reports out on the overall portfolio performance as well as asset by asset performance. Evaluates new space requests submitted by client agencies to the other divisions for major new or expansion space or major downsizes. Provides expert advice and direction and approvals for pricing policy, occupancy agreements, housing pans, financial analyses, schedules, lease terms, performance measures and budget. Coordinates GSA actions with Federal, state and international representatives, agency heads and local officials. For each job on your resume, provide:

The GS-12 salary range starts at $84,045 per year. If you are a new federal employee, your starting salary will likely be set at the Step 1 of the grade for which you are selected. To qualify, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level or higher in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as experience independently performing one or more of the following, related to asset management programs:
economic or financial management of owned or leased assets, asset performance analysis, facility/asset planning and strategy, lease procurement, or assessing and processing new space requests.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
