Acquisition Project Management Specialist

Major duties include, but are not limited to the following:
Coordinates customer requirements through contracting or task order process. Prepares or assists in finalizing customer statements of work, performance work statements or statement of objectives, evaluates proposals, prepares negotiation objectives and supports negotiations with vendors. Coordinates with Contracting Officer, and assists in preparing acquisition/procurement documentation. Coordinates receipt of customer funds, monitors progress of tasks, accepts/rejects invoices, expenditures of customer funds, payments and invoices on tasks and contracts. Uses automated systems of record to accomplish these tasks and inputs and tracks data to assure timely completion of required steps in the process. Provides reports to management, as required. Coordinates with contracting officers to ensure the acquisition strategy is the most appropriate and considered the best utilization of available contract offerings. Develops or collaborates in the development of proposal evaluation and rating factors that support the effective review of contractor's proposals and responses to evaluations factors. Operates as the customer advocate and provides contract administration services, serves as a contracting officer's representative (COR). For each job on your resume, provide:

The GS-13 salary range starts at $96,656 per year. If you are a new federal employee, your starting salary will likely be set at the Step 1 of the grade for which you are selected. To qualify, applicants must possess 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as demonstrated expertise in Federal acquisition and project management that included responsibility for managing projects and serving as a technical authority in the information technology, Federal Acquisition Regulations, and/or professional services areas. Such experience must include:
identifying customer agency requirements; providing technical advice; acquisition planning, preparing statements of work; determining type of contracts to use; acquiring support services; and managing subsequent contracts/task orders.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
