Sales Operations Manager

The Manager, Sales Operations will play a very hands-on role helping our national sales organization exceed its goals and run effectively. Reporting directly to the Senior Vice President, Sales, this position is primarily responsible for (1) leveraging data, technology and business processes/project management to support the sales organization, diagnose issues, and design solutions, and (2) managing cross-functional responses to RFP and RFQ opportunities as well as first tier contract review.
Sales Organization Enablement:
Sales process development, adoption and compliance
SalesForce.com responsibility, including data integrity, processes, usage and auditing Administration duties include building custom fields, objects, reports, dashboards and workflows
Sales tools and selling methodology implementation and practice
Sales training and onboarding
Partnering with outside Account Executives to drive AE engagement, accountability, and bookings including limited outbound communications.
Business Analytics:
Sales metrics, forecasting and reporting (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly)
Sales Administration:
Cross-functional RFP and RFQ response; contract review; Editor of all outbound customer-facing work product
Process approved customer orders (including updating of Salesforce.com and internal communications)
Partner with HR/Finance on Sales compensation administration
Liaison for sales to other parts of the organization (Finance, HR, Marketing, IT, Engineering, Development, etc.)
Sales Operations Management:
Attract, retain and motivate the sales operations team
Requirements:
5-7+ years of dedicated Sales Operations experience, preferably in a business-to-business environment, which experience includes:
o Thorough knowledge of sales processes, pipeline management, and forecasting
o Experience with Salesforce.com including building reports and
o Experience building an accurate forecast model for a services company a plus
o Experience managing the sales proposal and reporting process utilizing project management practices a plus
o Proven ability to manage RFQs, RFPs, and contract review processes
o Experience with remote sales teams
o Managing or serving as a lead for a small sales operations team
o High proficiency in clear, technical sales writing (including PowerPoint presentation creation and support)
Self-reliant achiever
Strong project management and organization skills
Experience with a distributed services business model
Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills
Outstanding leadership and communications skills (both written and verbal)
Able to develop creative solutions to complex problems and gain buy-in of colleagues across functions
Strategic and can think about big problems without being overwhelmed
Comfortable in ambiguity and not afraid to create, try out, learn and iterate
Superior collaboration and inter-personal skills required to be effective liaison for sales to other parts of the organization
Preferred
BA or BS degree in a business discipline preferred
PMP desirable
Small and mid-size company experience highly desirable

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
