Helly Hansen, a leading wholesaler and retailer of high performance outdoor apparel, is seeking an Accounting Assistant for our U.S. headquarters office in Auburn, WA. This position is a 6-month term with benefits and potential to convert into a full-time role.
The Accounting Assistant will report to the Assistant Controller and is responsible for assisting with a variety of accounting duties including the following:
Open and distribute daily mail
Code A/P vouchers with general ledger coding and supplier number
Data entry and filing of A/P vouchers
Print checks and process for mailing
Process inventory invoices
Review A/P statements to verify that all listed invoices are on hand and request copies from vendors if necessary
Communicate with vendors via email and telephone
Print and mail A/R invoices and statements
Assist in other accounting areas as needed
Required
Experience:
A successful candidate will have:
2-3 years of related accounting experience
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
An Associate's Degree or equivalent is desirable

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
