Horse Help Auburn/Enumclaw Area

Position Type:
Part-time
Experience:
5 - 10
Salary Range:
$10.00 Hourly
compensation: 10 hr for chores Hi, I am looking for a very mature person that is 18 years or older with Horse experience to watch my horses. I pay $10 an hour. And usually it is about a two hour job in the morning at 7:30. I put a calendar up with the dates I need someone to work. I like to take care of my own horses when I am home so it is not a permanent job it is an on-call position as needed. I tried to give as much notice as possible but my family has a business down south that I work for and sometimes I am needed unexpectedly or longer than planned. I travel quite a bit and the calendar does change, me usually adding days here and there just so you know that upfront. If you cannot work weekends this is not a job for you either as I travel quite a bit beginning in February over the weekend racing endurance cross country and sometimes I will be gone for two weeks straight depending on the location. I generally take one or two horses with me leaving three at home. Also I cannot tolerate a person being late or calling in because the horses absolutely depend on you when I am out of town. So if you are a person that cannot work when you're feeling sick then this is not the job for you. I am actually in between Auburn and Enumclaw by O'Grady park and Coopers Corner. I prefer someone local just because of gas prices as I don't want you quitting because you have to drive too far and the gas outweighs the wage for two or three hours of work. I currently have a girl that works for me on call but recently it is not working out for me because her other jobs and / or priorities in life. I am constantly having to worry if I will have coverage for the needed time frame I need And that is why I am looking for one other person. ( one of the girls will be in Canada December 21-January 3rd and I will definitely need coverage December 17- January 10th as my son is in the military and will be home on leave.) Please send me a text message with your name telephone number and a reference along with your experience. Please tell me where you live, what days of the week you are available at 7:30 in the morning for approximately two hours to include holidays such as Thanksgiving Christmas new years day New Year's etc. Only serious people respond! I am home the entire last week of October and would like to train who ever I hire. Also occasionally I need help with administrative stuff, such as typing, filing etc., plus I always need help cleaning house. There's always something to do around the ranch! Kindest regards, TheresaEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
