Lead Polisher (Aerospace)

We are seeking for an experienced Polisher for this Aerospace Company in WA State. This will be a 1st shift position. You will polish and buff steel, aluminum and stainless steel articles. You will be responsible for the removal of excess metal and the supervisor of surface defects from such items as hardware, automobile trim, or accessory parts prior to buffing, or planting, using revolving abrasive wheel or belt.

Responsibilities:
Select abrasive belt or wheel according to grain size, type of finish specified, product being polished, or amount of metal to be removed, using knowledge of polishing operations.
Attaches wheel or belt to drive mechanism.
Starts polisher and manipulates work piece against abrasive wheel to remove metal and surface defects.
Examines parts for acceptability of finish.
Secures work piece to bench or table and guides abrasive polishing wheel over work piece to remove scratches and other defects from metal surface.
Moves buffing brush over surfaces of work piece to remove fine scratches and to achieve a specific finish.
Polishes recessed areas with fine grad emery cloth.
Properly records all data required on the shop traveler.

REQUIRED SKILLS:
2-4 years of Aerospace experience
Ability to read blueprints effectively.
Aerospace experience
Strong experience as a supervisor or a lead.
Demonstrated accuracy and thoroughness.
Ability to meet productivity standards.
Excellent attendance and punctuality is a must.
Willingness to pursue training and development opportunities.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
