00pm Position Summary The Imaging Scheduler - MHS Call Center is responsible for the scheduling and coordination of pediatric and adult patients for all Imaging outpatient services and procedures.
This position requires the ability to learn and retain a broad base of knowledge concerning all examinations and make quick, independent decisions using good judgment.
Work situations require a service-oriented individual with the ability to respond to physicians, patients and families with sympathy, respect and understanding.
Contacts include patients, families and referring physicians and their office staff, Radiologists, Nursing, and all Imaging Modality Technologists.
Requirements Post high school clerical vocational training or college course work preferred Medical Terminology certification preferred Minimum one year scheduling patients in a medical setting or Imaging Support experience preferred Minimum one year experience working with EMR or RIS preferred Skills equivalent to an experienced tier two or a tier three call center agent can substitute for some of the above requirements if approved by HR Our Values As a MultiCare employee, we'll rely on you to reflect our core values of Respect, Integrity, Stewardship, Excellence, Collaboration and Kindness.
