Position Description:
The primary responsibility of the Regional Marketing Manager is to aid in the development of the annual marketing plan and budgets for franchisees within their assigned region, including both local and regional campaign execution and measurement.
In addition, the Regional Marketing Manager will provide ongoing consultation and value through ongoing media plan audits and make recommendations for improving ROI, increasing brand awareness and driving more traffic to stores through marketing strategies including:
tracking, allocating and exhausting manufacturer cooperative funds in unison with incremental marketing budget management, expand and develop marketing campaigns to grow customer count and overall gross profit, creative development and brand management, strategic alignment with Approved Vendor marketing programs.
The Regional Marketing Manager will also work directly with the Marketing Sr.
Manager Marketing and the Retail Marketing Specialist to help develop strategies to meet key corporate goals, including driving brand awareness and increasing traffic and retail sell-out within their territory.
RESPONSIBILITIES Marketing Oversee a particular area, product or service within the larger marketing strategy.
Involves managing development or delivery (or both).
Marketing Execution Deliver specified outcomes and provide others with expert advice while working within established marketing programs.
Information and Business Advice Resolve queries from internal or external customers or suppliers by providing information on complex processes and the related policies, referring to others where necessary for interpretation of policy.
Promoting Customer Focus Develop internal marketing plans and work collaboratively with other departments to improve internal relationships and build strong customer relationships.
Customer Relationship Management / Account Management Develop and implement relationship management plans for complex existing customer accounts to identify and build relationships with relevant decision makers and influencers within the customer organization and to enable effective two-way flow of information and resolution of issues.
Manage ongoing relationships with identified customer segments to ensure their needs are met, providing themes, summary analyses, and recommendations for changes based on customer input.
Brand Positioning Manage the alignment of all the elements of the brand positioning with the brand strategy and the marketing goals.
Stakeholder Engagement Develop stakeholder engagement through identifying stakeholders, finding out their needs/issues/concerns and reacting to these to support the communication of business information and decisions.
TASKS Identify, develop, or evaluate marketing strategy, based on knowledge of establishment objectives, market characteristics, and cost and markup factors.
Formulate, direct, or coordinate marketing activities or policies to promote products or services, working with advertising or promotion managers.

Compile lists describing product or service offerings.
Direct the hiring, training, or performance evaluations of marketing or sales staff and oversee their daily activities.
Consult with product development personnel on product specifications such as design, color, or packaging.
Use sales forecasting or strategic planning to ensure the sale and profitability of products, lines, or services, analyzing business developments and monitoring market trends.
Negotiate contracts with vendors or distributors to manage product distribution, establishing distribution networks or developing distribution strategies.
Coordinate or participate in promotional activities or trade shows, working with developers, advertisers, or production managers, to market products or services.
Consult with buying personnel to gain advice regarding the types of products or services expected to be in demand.
