Position Overview:
Responsible for assisting the Executive Housekeeper with managing the day-to-day operations of the hotel housekeeping department in a 400
room casino-hotel.
Previous hotel opening experience required.
This position is one of The Service Companies' on-site account management team members and represents the face of The Service Companies to the client.
Essential Duties:
Responsible for assisting the Executive Housekeeper with the overall management of the entire housekeeping department to include room turn times, customer service scores and profitability Helps Executive Housekeeper manage a base of over 100 employees Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and conduct Publicly recognizes and rewards employees Coaches underperforming employees to improved performance Ensures new employees follow the company training plan Ensures proper documentation is completed as necessary Helps to ensure payroll is completed daily based on The Service Companies' on-demand pay model Smiles and is friendly when interacting with co-workers, guests and property employees Follows and teaches all required safety and standard operating procedures Adheres to all company and regulatory policies.
Reports any wrongdoing to corporate headquarters in Miramar, Florida Available to work weekends, holidays, rotating shifts and long hours Acts as a role model to other The Service Companies employees Skills and Abilities:
Five years prior housekeeping management experience in a large hotel Ability to speak publicly addressing a large group Ability to push and pull 50 pounds Ability to remain standing for extended periods of time Must meet company and client's appearance standards Ability to work with a variety of cleaning equipment and chemicals Ability to perform all duties as required with or without an accommodation Ability to motivate and respect hourly employees Knowledge of Microsoft Suite #INDrelocation Job Type:
