A candidate's daily routine will primarily be computer based, working through building/filling the spreadsheets used to track and calculate the cost of new work/projects in a top-tier Aerospace Machine Shop.
Typical duties include (but are not limited to):
Assisting in data-entry supporting the Estimating Department, Uploading information into Excel spreadsheets and other software such as:
Cost figures, Names, Locations, Numerical Data, Nomenclature Data, Simple formatting of Spreadsheets, Attend daily team meetings for daily direction and task prioritization, Organize data entries based on information located in associated folders/documents.
This role will begin as Entry Level, but based on performance, drive, and personal ambition, may develop into a career-level role within the company or machine shop.
The role will primarily be office/computer based, but assistance in other areas of the shop may be required based on the ever-changing demands in the daily operations of the facility.
Job Skills & Qualifications Required:
Basic computer skills, Communicates effectively with co-workers & managers, sufficient to exchange or convey information and to give and receive work direction, Solid interpersonal skills with good oral and written communication skills, Able to work independently, as well as in team environment, Maturity, good organizational skills, and adaptability.
Preferred:
A high school diploma or its equivalent, Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Word, etc.
