Reporting to the Director of Women's and Children's Services, the PICU Nurse Manager will be responsible for directing and managing Pediatrics, PICU, Pediatric Float Pool, and Child Life Services.
The PICU Nurse manager will be well supported by Charge Nurses and Nurse Leads.
The PICU Nurse Manager will manage the day-to-day clinical operations of the unit including department budgets, resource management, and collaborating with leadership across other departments.
In addition, the PICU Nurse Manager will work with unit staff to ensure quality measures are being met and develop plans for improvement when needed.
The PICU Nurse Manager will work in collaboration with Clinical Nurse Specialists and other members of the Pediatric and PICU team to maintain and develop evidence-based practices.
