11 an hour 6 days ago 6 days ago 6 days ago We are currently seeking a self-motivated EDI / Marketing Generalist to join our IT Department at Oak Harbor Freight Lines to aid with Electronic Data Interchange (EDI), support IT organizationally and aid our Marketing team.
As an EDI / Marketing Generalist at Oak Harbor Freight Lines, you are responsible for performing support including but not limited to planning, implementation, troubleshooting as well as administrative procedures in a variety of IT functional areas.
Ideal candidates for this occupation are tech-savvy, love taking on new challenges, are not afraid to wear many hats daily and are able to take direction.

Responsibilities:
EDI / Marketing Generalist duties include both administrative and technical support tasks throughout the workday.
This includes receiving, processing, and addressing EDI inquiries and onboarding (typically sent via email) related to new setups and strategies.
EDI / Marketing Generalist will assist content/marketing team in areas such as printing & proofing marketing materials, editing photos and uploading content to social media channels.
EDI / Marketing Generalist will provide operational support, maintenance, and troubleshooting to ensure optimum utilization of IT resources.
EDI / Marketing Generalist chosen for this position will be directed in several aspects of the work.
Gaining exposure to some of the more complex tasks within the job function.
EDI / Marketing Generalistwill have a cross-divisional understanding of IT and relevant various business elements.

Content/Media:
Assist with printing with a keen eye confirming that prints look color correct, and margins are accurate.
Assist with proofing of marketing materials for overall design, standardization, spelling, and grammar.
Assist with distributing marketing materials that entail completion of a BOL for materials and packaging the materials for Account Managers.
Assist with taking photos at events and photoshoots and have an eye for good composition.
Assist with editing photos taken by us or by third parties for enhancement.
Assist with uploading/updating content to social media on Facebook, LinkedIn, and WordPress.
Able to lift 25
pounds (mainly use of camera and marketing equipment/supplies) Programs - basic knowledge of any of the following:
Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign Adobe Acrobat Canon Camera Software SharePoint Teams WordPress Social Media (Facebook, LinkedIn) Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) This position reports to the B2B Integration Manager.
Day to day:
Monitor and assess support tickets - provide 1:
1 support in the IT office, via email, MS Teams or phone for new EDI setups and marketing team projects.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
