Summary:
The Hot Tub Repair & Refurbishment Specialist is primarily responsible for the diagnosis, repair, and refurbishment of pre-owned products to bring them back to like-new condition and ready them for resale.
This position also assists with the assembly and preparation of new products to be delivered to customers.
This includes working with basic hand tools and light power tools to perform electrical and plumbing repairs.
The Hot Tub Repair & Refurbishment Specialist may occasionally be called upon to assist the Warehouse Lead with general warehouse duties including shipping and receiving, organization, general maintenance, and cleanliness of the warehouse.
This job is primarily indoors, with some outdoor work required.
Will have the opportunity to acquire a specialty electrician's license and potential to become outside service tech through the accrual of training hours, company paid Continuing Education courses, and successful completion of state required testing.
Responsibilities:
Diagnoses pre-owned hot tubs using multi-meters and other diagnostic equipment Repairs pre-owned hot tubs using basic hand tools and factory recommended repair methods, including replacement of electrical components and plumbing repairs Conducts passive testing on all repaired pre-owned hot tubs to ensure like-new operation to factory specifications Cleans and sanitizes all pre-owned hot tubs to prepare for resale Tracks and documents all inventory and procedures on pre-owned tubs using traveler sheet Works with the Warehouse Lead to ensure customer products are ready for on time delivery Occasionally assists Warehouse Lead in picking, organizing, and loading of all product sales orders using forklift, pallet jacks and picking carts Occasionally restocks warehouse shelves, bins and other stock sites using First In, First Out method Works with the Inventory Control Clerk to ensure parts and supplies needed for continuing operations on pre-owned spas are ordered and accurate inventory and restocking levels are maintained Maintains cleanliness of the warehouse using clean as you go (CAYG) and end-of-day task lists Other tasks and duties as required Skills and Abilities Required Possess mechanical aptitude and ability to master diagnostic and repair techniques using various hand tools, multi-meters, and web-based information Able to read, write, and communicate effectively using English Able to solve problems using critical thinking skills Able to successfully manage multiple simultaneous projects Able to frequently lift up to 50 pounds Able to occasionally lift up to 100 pounds Able to use a computer and various business software including Outlook and Excel Able to safely operate hand tools and light power tools Able to safely operate warehouse equipment including forklift, pallet jacks, and picking carts Possess intermediate math skills for order picking, stocking, and inventory management Pay Pay range is $19.
00 - $19.
50 per hour plus 3% commission earned on all pre-owned product sold and delivered by the sales team.
Commission is paid above and beyond the standard hourly rate as a fixed percentage of all pre-owned product invoiced.
